First Look at the New 2018 Jeep Wrangler

For decades, the Jeep Wrangler has been an iconic vehicle option that promises to put the fun in driving. Its classic Jeep off-roading capabilities combined with its timeless design and the removable top options make the Wrangler the number one pick for those looking to get closer to nature. The newest upcoming model, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, promises some compelling updates in addition to the traditional SUV America has grown to love.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler looks to expand on the already classic 2017 Wrangler model pictured above.

For one thing, spy shots of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler seem to show that this new version will feature multiple roof options. The four-door Wrangler is said to be a three-piece hard top, where the roof panels are removable in separate chunks for versatile, open-air driving. Another rumor suggests that the 2018 Wrangler will offer a hybrid version. Jeep also seems to be looking into equipping the newest Wranglers with more autonomous features to aide in safety, plus even better handling and off-roading capabilities. The future of Jeep also promises a pickup version of the Wrangler, but this unique option won’t hit the market for another couple of years.

Even without that pickup version available, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler sure sounds like an exciting update to a favorite classic. We look forward to having some in stock at Sierra CDJR and offering you one of the first test drives in this new SUV.

Chrysler 300 Platinum Returns to Ward’s Best Interior List

Every year WardsAuto World puts out their Best Interior List after a few months of testing. On the ballot are vehicles that are new to the United States market, this year amounting to 42. The editor’s test drove the vehicles through the streets of Detroit on daily commutes, taking into account the comfort, safety, value, and much, much more to determine the best of the best.

This year the Chrysler 300 returned to the list after a two year hiatus. The Platinum model had editors raving over the vehicle’s Nappa leather seats, leather-trimmed dash, steering wheel, center console, and the “dramatic and soothing” environment. Also included in the review were the natural-pore wood and the standard 7 inch multi-function display on the instrument panel.

Filling out the list were three sedans, two pickup trucks, two crossovers, two hatchbacks, and a minivan. The variation is new and exciting as all automakers step up their game, increase competition, and deliver the best vehicles possible. By making the list, the Chrysler 300 Platinum proves it’s one of the best.

“In this year’s competition, we saw a lot of evidence that automakers are thinking creatively about interiors and putting a lot of design horsepower into not just luxury vehicles, but pickups, minivans and family sedans. And they are investing more in high-quality trim materials, electronic features and other details that will surprise and delight shoppers,” said Drew Winter, WardsAuto World Editor-in-Chief.
