New Chrysler 300 Honors the American Spirit of Success in New Commercial

The new Chrysler 300 features a larger, bolder grille than its predecessor—just one of the many stylistic improvements you’ll find on the refreshed sedan. The sedan’s chest-first new look seeks to honor the American spirit of self-made success—a spirit celebrated in the new commercial for the 300 as well.

The commercial, titled “The Kings and Queens of America,” features people like entrepreneur Phil Ivey, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon—people who have all worked hard to make themselves successful.

“Our latest homage to the relentless and proud is ‘The Kings and Queens of America,’ where we recognize nobility not as a birthright but as an earned designation,” Olivier Francois, Chrysler’s chief marketing officer, said.

The Chrysler 300 has certainly earned that designation and continues to hold it with this remarkable new model. It’s a big, roomy sedan with plenty of power—a baseline V6 engine with bigger options—and yet up to 31 mpg on the highway. Come see us at Sierra Chrysler to learn more about this sedan today.

Factors to Consider When Buying Your First Car

Especially at the time, buying your first car can seem like the most important decision of your life. If you are in high school, you are likely looking at a used car (unless Mom and Pop are chipping in). Being 16 or 17 years old, the most important factor might seem like it could be the color or quality of stereo. But there are a lot of other factors to consider when buying your first car.

Number one on the list has got to be price. But you shouldn’t just think price, per se. You should think overall cost. That means looking at several factors at once, like price, maintenance costs, and insurance costs.

One of the greatest benefits of buying a new car is that you are unlikely to see major repairs for hopefully several years (repairs that cost more than $150). But if you are going to buy used, take into account the quality of the car, how many miles it has on it and also whether it’s already had any major repairs done. Factor potential repairs into the overall cost.

If you find yourself interested in a particular car, find out how much it will cost to insure it. Factor that into your overall cost.

Do this simple research and owning your first car will be an enjoyable and educational experience, instead of an unpleasant one.
