An Overview of 2017 Ram 1500 Reviews

2017 Ram 1500 reviewsThe 2017 Ram 1500 is one of the many full-size pickups on the market, competing with trucks like the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and more. With all the information that’s now online, it can be difficult to know what to look for when it comes to researching car information. That’s why the team here at Sierra Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has condensed information from the top industry sites to let you know more about the 2017 Ram 1500 reviews.

When reviewing cars, the first place to look is Car and Driver. The reviewers at this website give in-depth details about every car, performing their own tests to make fair assessments. When tested by Car and Driver, the Ram 1500 had a 0 to 60 mph of 7.0 seconds flat, a top speed of 107 mph, and up to 395 horsepower. The writers also note that “few vehicles have such broad appeal as a full-size pickup, and the Ram, with nearly three dozen configurations, is no exception.” Take it from the experts: the Ram 1500 is great for an incredible variety of drivers.

Product reviewer US News also ranks the 2017 Ram 1500 among the best in the business. With a score of 8.7 out of 10, the Ram 1500 is listed as the truck with the smoothest ride, the most comfortable cabins, and an incredibly fuel-efficient turbodiesel engine. What also stands out on the Ram 1500 is the Quad Cab® configuration with seating for up to six.

Finally, Motor Trend has helpful reviews for any car buyer looking for reliable information. Motor Trend gives the Ram 1500 4 out of 5 stars, noting that the Ram 1500 is simply well rounded—it’s a truck that appeals to a broad audience. For instance, the optional air suspension is perfect for ride comfort, yet the driving dynamics allow for improved safety and handling. You also get a turbodiesel option to save at the pump, and the reliable build is bound to last for years.

Still unsure about the 2017 Ram 1500? Plan a test drive. It’s one of the few ways to see for yourself if you really like a vehicle. You can gauge things that are difficult to measure, such as comfort, blind spots, handling, and more.

2016 Dodge Charger Pursuit’s Built-In Tech

Pursuit’s Built-In Tech

The 2015 Charger has received some serious police upgrades for 2016.

It’s no secret that police vehicles need to be fast, strong, and reliable, and Dodge has done just that. The new 2016 Dodge Charger Pursuit adds plenty of space for police officers behind the wheel. Say goodbye the laptops of old and welcome the new 12.1 inch Uconnect touchscreen system.

The touchscreen is a new feature added based on feedback from officer’s statements that they needed more space. That spawned the touchscreen that allows officers to transition between vehicle controls quickly.

Police cruisers are a necessity and that means there’s market share to be had. Ford had long held the lion’s share for the better part of 30 years until the Crown Victoria was replaced by the Taurus. Dodge has been gaining ground in the past few years though.

In 2006, Dodge held just 2% of the market for police vehicles. By 2014, that number had jumped to an enormous 43%. The newest model is expected to drive that number upward even further.

The Charger Pursuit’s built-in tech brings all the car’s technology into one place, eliminating the need to shift, lean, and strain while behind the wheel.

All in all, we here at Sierra Motors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are happy to see Dodge working to help the boys in blue!

Introducing the Ram Snow Chief Package: Designed for Heavy-Duty Winter Driving

This is the time of year Ram engineers suit up and head north to test Ram pickup capabilities. By testing the new line of trucks in harsh conditions and with plowing equipment, Ram is ensuring your truck is capable of virtually anything.

Ram understands that not everyone is going to need to use their Ram truck to move mounds of snow; however, there’s no better way to test durability and power. In fact, after several years of testing in northern Michigan, we’re happy to see the new Ram Snow Chief Package. According to Chrysler, the Snow Chief is available for most models, including the Ram 2500, 2500, 4500, and 5500—both 4×2 and 4×4 models.

“Only a small percentage of Ram truck owners will subject their truck or van to the harshest winter conditions, but for those who do our durability testing procedures instill confidence,” said Mike Cairns, Director of Ram Truck Engineering.

So what exactly does the Snow Chief Package come with? Owners get an upgraded cooling system, high-amp alternator, anti-spin differential, and heavy-duty suspension among other things. Whether you’re driving in cold winter conditions or plowing back roads, the Snow Chief Package is perfect for anyone who needs a dependable winter pickup.
