Chrysler 300 Platinum Returns to Ward’s Best Interior List
Every year WardsAuto World puts out their Best Interior List after a few months of testing. On the ballot are vehicles that are new to the United States market, this year amounting to 42. The editor’s test drove the vehicles through the streets of Detroit on daily commutes, taking into account the comfort, safety, value, and much, much more to determine the best of the best.
This year the Chrysler 300 returned to the list after a two year hiatus. The Platinum model had editors raving over the vehicle’s Nappa leather seats, leather-trimmed dash, steering wheel, center console, and the “dramatic and soothing” environment. Also included in the review were the natural-pore wood and the standard 7 inch multi-function display on the instrument panel.
Filling out the list were three sedans, two pickup trucks, two crossovers, two hatchbacks, and a minivan. The variation is new and exciting as all automakers step up their game, increase competition, and deliver the best vehicles possible. By making the list, the Chrysler 300 Platinum proves it’s one of the best.
“In this year’s competition, we saw a lot of evidence that automakers are thinking creatively about interiors and putting a lot of design horsepower into not just luxury vehicles, but pickups, minivans and family sedans. And they are investing more in high-quality trim materials, electronic features and other details that will surprise and delight shoppers,” said Drew Winter, WardsAuto World Editor-in-Chief.
