2015 Challenger Earns Five Stars From NHTSA
We all know that the 2015 Dodge Challenger looks sharp, drives like a dream, and growls in a manner that could scare away even the most ferocious and fearless creatures. What most may not make note of amidst all of that excitement is the fact that the 2015 Challenger is also one of the safest cars on the road today.
This fact isn’t lost on us here at Sierra Motors Chrysler Dodge Jeep, which is why we are particularly proud to announce that the 2015 Dodge Challenger has been given a five-star overall safety rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
“The new Dodge Challenger coupe further demonstrates our commitment to broaden the proliferation of advanced safety technologies, such as driver-assist features,” says Scott Kunselman, Senior Vice President-Vehicle Safety and Regulatory, FCA-North America.
Not only does the Challenger boast more than 70 available safety and security features, but it is also the only car in its segment that comes available with Forward Collision Warning, which can help mitigate or avoid collisions altogether by detecting hazards on the road with front-facing sensors.
The 2015 Challenger earns five stars from NHTSA in the side crash test and four stars in the frontal and rollover tests.
“The 2015 Challenger checks all the boxes,” Kunselman says. “It affords premium safety and security in a stylish package that delivers a sporty driving experience.”
